Maternal Infant Health Program

MIHP provides in home support to pregnant women and infants who are Medicaid eligible.  MIHP will see clients throughout their pregnancies and follow infants to age 18 months. MIHP staff will help pregnant women and infants with:  Making sure pregnant women and infants have proper health care Support from a registered nurse, social worker, or registered dietician Answering questions in-between doctor visits Helping with referrals to quit smoking, drug misuse, housing, finding a counselor, etc. Referrals for childcare, baby supplies, parenting classes, & playgroups

Healthy Futures

Healthy Futures is a program that helps to ensure every child has a healthy future, beginning at conception.  Healthy Futures program provides women and families with:  Support from a registered nurse during pregnancy and throughout the first six months of your child’s life. After baby is born, a registered nurse can visit participants in their home to answer questions and connect participants with community resources. Participants will receive periodic newsletters in the mail with information on immunizations, safety, nutrition, and other issues affecting pregnancy and child development up to age 5.

Healthy Families America (HFA)

Healthy Families America will share child growth and development information and activities with you, along with personalized, family-focused support in the comfort and convenience of your home. Your family support coach can share information on the resources available in your community.  Program Benefits:  Will service families from prenatal time to the child’s 4th Birthday. Referrals need to be received during pregnancy or before the child is 3 months old. Prenatal referrals are preferred. This program is not income based but based on family support needs. To receive services, you must answer “True” to at least 1 of the 4 questions on the screener/referral form. Connect your clients to the Healthy Families America Program through DHD#10. Support available in Crawford, Kalkaska, Lake, Manistee, Missaukee, and Wexford Counties.

Pine Rest Christian Mental Health Services

Pine Rest offers a full continuum of addiction services that range from residential detoxification to traditional outpatient services. All of the service components in the continuum welcome those who also have mental health disorders. We believe that there should be no wrong door for individuals to access substance use disorder treatment.

Northern Michigan Regional Entity

The Northern Michigan Regional (NMRE) entity is one of ten Prepaid Inpatient Health Plans (PIHPs) in the state of Michigan to manage the behavioral health (mental health, intellectual disability and substance use disorder) services for people enrolled in Medicaid. The NMRE is the PIHP for 21 counties in northern Lower Michigan. This means the NMRE manages the Medicaid funding for the behavioral health services in the region. The NMRE is jointly owned by five Member Community Mental Health Services Programs (CMHSPs) which provide mental health services and supports to individuals with a mental health diagnosis or an intellectual disability. The NMRE also manages and coordinates prevention, treatment, and recovery support services for individuals with a substance use disorder.  

Lakeshore Regional Entity

Lakeshore Regional Entity is the public behavioral health plan for people with mental illness, developmental disability, and substance use disorders in Allegan, Kent, Lake, Mason, Muskegon, Oceana, and Ottawa counties.  Our organization manages the services provided under a contract with the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) to residents in the region who are enrolled in Medicaid or are under insured and who are eligible for services as defined by the Michigan Mental Health Code. We are one of ten Prepaid Inpatient Health Plans (PIHP) in Michigan.

The NMSAS Recovery Center offers a family friendly and welcoming environment for our outpatient services for opiate and other drug addiction recovery treatments.
